Berki Gábor Absztrakt Napjaink katonai akcióiban elsődleges probléma az ellenséges erők pusztításánál a járulékos károk minimalizálása. Ennek megfelelően a precíziós fegyverek fejlesztésére igen nagy hangsúlyt fektetnek. Az 1990-es Öböl-háborúban bemutatkozó Tomahawk robotrepülőgép ennek nagyszerű példája. A cikk bemutatja, honnan fejlődött ki, hogyan működik, milyen fejlesztéseken esett át és milyen harctereken vetették be. Nowadays the primary problem in the military actions is not only the destruction of hostile forces but also the minimize of collateral damage. The latter has been addressed by the development of precision weapons, a superb example being the introduction of the Tomahawk cruise missiles during the 1990 Gulf War.
